Instructions

    • 1

Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the door handle cover. Do this by sliding the flat head under the edges of the handle cover. It will pop off for you without causing any damage.

    • 2

Unscrew the star screws that are holding the handle to the door by using a Philips-head screwdriver. Only two screws are there for you to remove.

    • 3

Bend down so you can easily access the bottom of the refrigerator. Carefully pull at the silver trim, starting at the bottom, and then up and around the front of the refrigerator. It might take a combination of pulling and prying with your flat-head screwdriver to fully remove the silver trim.

    • 4

Remove the star screws under the trim with your Philips-head screwdriver. You will find five screws down the side of the refrigerator door. These screws hold the side decorative panel on the door.

Lift off the decorative panel when you get the screws out. Once the screws are out, you can slide the front panel off to the side.
