How to Replace a Broken Ice Dispenser Lever on a Samsung RS2577

Samsung R-series refrigerators are of French door design. That means they have two side-by-side compartments as well as a pull-out compartment on the bottom. One other feature these refrigerators come with is an ice dispenser built into the outside door. The ice is dispensed via a lever, but over time this lever can become damaged or break. In these instances you can replace the lever yourself.
