How to Set the Clock on a Kenmore Induction Range

Kenmore is a Sears brand that offers induction ranges that fall into three categories: free-standing, slide-in and cooktop. The term "induction" might be the most intriguing aspect of these ranges because there is no exposed heating element or open flame. Instead, the pot or pan itself heats up, cooking the food within. If you are unsure how to set the clock on your Kenmore induction range, the process is quite elementary on both the free-standing and slide-in models.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the clock-face icon, which looks like a traditional wall clock or watch with hour and minute hands. "CLO" will appear on the display, indicating that the clock is ready to be set. On many Kenmore induction range models, this icon is located beneath the numeric keypad.

    • 2

Enter the current time as a string of numbers by pressing the corresponding buttons on the keypad. For example, to set the time at 9:00, press 9, followed by 0, followed by 0.

    • 3

Press the "Start" button, which is also near the bottom of the numeric keypad. If you see the letters "CLO" disappear, the time that you entered has been successfully programmed.
