How to Troubleshoot the Shark Portable Pro Steam Cleaner S3325

Using your Shark Portable Pro Steam Cleaner S3325 to clean can help you avoid harsh soaps, cleansers or chemicals in your home. The scalding mist breaks up deep or hardened stains and then you wipe up the dirt and debris with a towel. Using the S335 is as simple as attaching your favorite attachment, aiming and pressing the release button. You may have trouble operating, cleaning or maintaining the unit, however.

Check that that your steam cleaner is plugged into a working outlet and the power switch is in the “On” position if your cleaner won’t operate.

    • 2

Descale your Shark S3325 cleaner after 10 to 15 tankfuls if you have hard water in your faucets. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Fill the tank with one part vinegar and five parts water. Do not use the steam cleaner during this time. Allow to soak for eight hours and then dump out the solution. Use the unit as desired.

    • 3

Finish cleaning a surface with your steam cleaner by wiping it down with a towel for best results. Failure to wipe immediately after using the cleaner can allow dirt to dry and adhere to the surface.

    • 4

Unplug and allow the unit to cool to avoid pouring liquid into a hot tank, causing it to bubble and possibly burn you.

    • 5

Slide attachments onto the handle until you hear a clicking noise. If you don't hear the click, it isn't correctly attached. Press the attachment release button on the side of the handle to remove the attachment.
