Check if the wand has extended if the Washlet failing to provide rectal cleansing, feminine hygiene cleansing or soft rear cleansing when the appropriate buttons on the LED control panel are pressed. If the wand is extended, the water supply is interrupted. Examine the Washlet's water shut-off valve. If it is closed, open it by turning it counterclockwise. Cleaning the water-supply filter ensures it is not clogged. If you suspect there has been a failure in the water supply to your home, press the stop button, and wait for the normal supply to resume.
Sit back on the toilet seat. The Washlet does not operate if the seat sensor does not detect someone sitting on it. Sitting back on the toilet seat also places the user in the optimum position for rear or frontal washing.
Remove any cover placed on the toilet seat or lid if the Washlet fails to function. If the seat sensor detected the cover for a long period, the seat heater and washing functions become inoperable.
Turn the toilet seat temperature up if it is cold when you sit down. Check the LED display panel. If the energy-saving function is lit, the seat does not warm up until you sit on it. If something was sitting on the toilet lid before you sat on the seat, the Washlet sensed the weight and the safety cut off were activated. Stand up for a short period and ensure nothing is placed on the toilet lid in future.
Raise the water temperature setting if the water sprayed by the Washlet is cold. If the Washlet is in energy-saving mode, the water heater does not function until you sit down. It takes approximately 10 minutes for the water to heat up.
Use the controls on the LED and raise the water pressure if it seems too weak. If this proves ineffective, ensure the water shutoff valve is fully open and tighten the water drain valve. Cleaning the water supply filter guards against clogging.
Press the control buttons again if any of the wash functions stop unexpectedly while in use. If this fails, sit back on the toilet seat to ensure the seat sensor is detecting your presence.
