How to Replace the Turbine Assembly on a Hoover Steamvac

The spin-and-scrub mechanism in a Hoover SteamVac carpet cleaner is controlled by the turbine assembly located at the bottom of the appliance. If your SteamVac is not scrubbing using the brush system controls it cannot clean properly, and you should manually replace the turbine assembly. A new turbine part can be ordered from the Hoover manufacturer or an online retailer.
