Turn off your dryer and unplug the power cable. Move the dryer away from the wall so you have access to the rear panel.
Remove all screws on the rear panel of the unit. Remove the rear panel and set it aside.
Remove the lint screen by pulling it out of the top of the unit by its handle.
Remove the screws on the lint screen housing.
Insert your putty knife under the corners of the top panel of the dryer and pry up to pop the panel clips. Lift the panel up.
Locate the metal lint housing on the rear of the unit. Remove all screws from the housing and remove it. The two metal terminals of the rear of the moisture sensor will now be visible at the rear of the dryer.
Unplug the wiring harness from the lower sensor terminal.
Twist the upper terminal to the side with your pliers. This action will unlock the terminal.
Reach in through the front of the dryer and pull the sensor, located against the dryer wall, out of the dryer.
Fit a new sensor in the old one's place. Twist the upper terminal to lock it, and plug the wiring harness into the bottom terminal. Reassemble the dryer.
