How to Remove a GE Profile Double Oven

General Electric manufactures a double oven with their GE Profile series. The double oven consists of two full-sized ovens that install into your kitchen cabinetry. You can accomplish removing the oven to replace it or to make repairs in a brief amount of time, but the oven is bulky and heavy you will need someone there to assist you.

Instructions

      Turn off the power to the GE Profile double oven by sliding the breaker switch to the “Off” position at your breaker box.

      Locate and unscrew the three pan-head trim screws along the oven’s bottom trim, using a Phillips screwdriver, and then pull the trim piece off the oven’s frame.

      Unscrew the eight mounting screws that line the side of the oven’s frame.

      Grasp the oven, along the sides, and then pull it forward until it is away from the cabinet. You may need an assistant for the removal, as the oven is heavy.

      Pull the power cord, connected to the oven, out from the electrical outlet.
