Wood stoves are a common way to heat homes throughout the U.S. since they don’t require any electricity or gas to run. Also, in many cases, wood is cheaper than other forms of energy, making wood stoves cheaper as well. However, the stove needs to be properly attached to a flue and sealed before you can use it to heat your home. Improper sealing can result in dangerous fumes entering your home and endangering your family.
