Reset or replace the fuse or circuit breaker as needed to reset power to the oven. Disconnect and reconnect the power cord if the cord is accessible.
Look behind the oven, if possible, to see if any burned or broken wiring is apparent. Contact a professional technician for assistance if the wiring is bad.
Inspect the bottom of the oven to see if the thermostat bulb has fallen out of the holder and is sitting on the floor of the oven. Carefully replace the bulb into the holder on the side of the oven.
Retry the oven controls, selecting “Bake” using the key pad or control knob and then setting the desired temperature with the oven temperature knob or the key pads. Push “Start” on electric key pad models once you have selected the temperature to start heating. Note that most ovens take around 10 minutes to preheat to the selected temperature.
See if the bake element, which is a thin black tube on the bottom of the oven, is red and glowing when the oven is on and heating. If the element is not glowing or red, the element is likely burnt out and you must replace it before the oven will heat again.
