Check the fuse box or circuit breakers in your home if the microwave oven has no power. Replace any blown fuses. Reset any circuits that have tripped.
Unplug the microwave oven and plug it back in if there was a recent power surge. This resets the unit.
Open the microwave door and close it securely if the control panel lights up but the oven will not start. The door may not have been fully closed.
Press the "Clear/Off" button if the oven will not start. A previous selection may not have been canceled.
Enter the food weight if using the "Auto Defrost" mode. This mode will not start unless you enter a weight.
Enter a food type if using the "Reheat" or "Snacks" mode. These cooking modes will not start if you do not select a food type.
