How to Replace a Light Bulb in a Whirlpool MT4155SPS Microwave

As with many home appliances, the light bulb on your microwave inevitably will burn out and require a replacement. Fortunately, Whirlpool has built its microwaves--including the MT4155SPS model--with a simple panel to ease the removal and changing process. As with any appliance, always unplug your machine before starting a repair.

     Open the microwave and locate the microwave oven light panel on the right upper side.

     Unscrew the panel with a screwdriver and pull off the panel cover.

   • 3

     Unscrew the light and screw the replacement bulb into the socket.

     Place the panel back into position and screw it into place.
