Directions for a Tassimo Coffee Machine

Auto Mode

  Fill the water container with water. Insert the container into the back of the machine, in its designated slot.

  Plug in the coffee machine. Push the On/Off switch to turn the machine on.

  Open the brew mechanism to begin the heating of the water. The eating light will flash on and off if you've opened the mechanism properly.

  Set a mug or heat proof cup on the cup stand. Be sure it's the right-sized cup to avoid spills.

  Adjust the stand as necessary so that the rim of the mug or cup is as close to the brew mechanism as you can get it. To adjust, lift and turn the stand by placing your finger into the center of the stand.

  Place your T Disc into the holder inside the brewing mechanism. Be sure the label of the disc is face down and then close the brewing mechanism firmly.

  Hold and release the On/Off switch when the auto light comes on. It will switch from auto to manual and your coffee will begin to brew. When the indicator says "Heating," the brewing has completed.

  Open the brewing mechanism to discard the T Disc. Remove your mug or cup to drink.

Manual

  Follow the above steps in auto mode until the light switches to manual mode in Step 7.

  Push and hold the On/Off button to add more water to your beverage. Remove your finger when the drink has reached your preferred mildness. Or, for a stronger beverage, continue with the steps through Step 7 above.

  Press the On/Off button when your drink has reached the strength level you want. The cycle will then stop.
