How to Reset the Clock on a Panasonic SD978S Microwave

The Panasonic SD978S is a 2.2-cubic-foot microwave that can be placed on a counter top or built in to your kitchen. It has a one-touch sensor to cook and reheat food, a dial control panel and an inverter turbo defrost. Its clock uses a 12-hour display. If you need to reset the clock, such as after a power failure, to adjust it for daylight saving time, or because you have moved the microwave to a different time zone, you can do so easily by following a few quick steps.

     Press the "Timer/Clock" button on the front panel twice. The colon will flash.

     Rotate the "Time" dial to set the time of day, which will appear in the display window. The colon will continue to flash.

     Press the "Timer/Clock" button. The colon stops flashing and the time of day is now reset.
