Remove the microwave from the box and check the list of included pieces with the installation manual.
Find and mark wall studs on the wall behind your stove using the stud sensor and pencil. Draw a line down the studs, as the microwave has to be attached to at least one stud.
Place wall mounting bracket on rear wall. Use the level and make sure the bracket is level. Remove any decorative trim from the cabinets that may be in the way. Mark the holes in the mounting plate with the pencil.
Attach the vent in the proper location. There is an adapter plate for top exhaust, and a charcoal filter kit is needed for non-vented exhaust. The last option is back exhaust. You will know which one you have by the type of exhaust hood you removed before installing the microwave.
Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the toggle bolts. Verify that the bracket is level after installation.
Mount the microwave onto the bracket. Use two self-aligning screws through the bottom shelf of the cabinet above the microwave. If necessary, use the filler wood. Plug the microwave in.
Install the grease filter.
