Instructions

    • 1

Unplug the microwave from its electrical source.

    • 2

Unscrew the screws that fasten the outer cabinet to the microwave. Remove the outer cabinet.

    • 3

Follow the power cord into the microwave. You will find the fuse holder where the fuse sits.

    • 4

Examine your fuse. If it's glass, see if the tube is blackened and the wire inside partially melted. If it's a ceramic fuse, attach it to an ohm meter. If it reads zero, it's fine. If it reads infinite, it is likely blown.

    • 5

Snap out the old fuse and snap in a new one. Reattach the outer cabinet to the microwave. Screw the screws back into place.

    • 6

Plug the microwave back into its electrical outlet. It should work again.
