Electric Ovens With Microwaves

Many wall ovens feature a single oven unit with a microwave oven on top. Stacking these two appliances and blending them into a single wall unit saves kitchen space and makes using either, or both, more convenient. These units have a variety of features which typically include programmable cooking and self cleaning.
  1. Frigidaire

    • The Frigidaire Professional 30-inch wall stove and microwave combines a number of different features in a 30-inch-wide unit. The top portion of the oven is a large microwave with 2 cubic feet of space. The microwave also has one-touch settings for such items as baked potatoes, popcorn and chicken nuggets. In addition the microwave can be set to keep items warm once they have been cooked, plus it contains a sensor to help insure that food is cooked properly. The electric oven has automatic features, such as single-touch cooking for chicken nuggets and pizza. It includes a convection feature which can be used to accelerate cooking, allowing food to be cooked much more rapidly than in a conventional oven. The oven is self cleaning and can also be programmed to start cooking at whatever time is desired. This oven has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of about $2,400.00.
