How to Remove the Cover From a GE Microwave/Convection Oven

GE convection microwaves include a fan that allows for air circulation during cooking. This air circulation allows you to use the microwave to perform tasks not possible in traditional microwaves, such as browning and baking. The convection capability also includes a feature that allows you to use your oven as a warming drawer, capable of keeping food warm until it is ready to be served. The microwave includes a light on the underside of the appliance that is covered by a light cover. When the light burns out after prolonged usage, the cover must be removed to access and change the light bulb. Removing the cover is a quick process and can be done without the need for a service technician.
