How to Program a Dico Thermostat

Dico creates a line of gas digital thermostats for small and large homes, which are fairly easily programmed. If you've lost your user manual, however, you may need a little help. Programming the device properly helps you save money on heating bills, as you can set it to produce just the amount of heating or cooling you need throughout the day.

Instructions

Change your Dico thermostat to program mode by pressing the button that says, "PROGRAM/MODE" or "MODE," depending on your Dico thermostat.

Set your heating temperature down 8 degrees Fahrenheit, as the sun will provide a balance of heat in your home. For your cooling temperature, it should be up 4 degrees Fahrenheit, according to ENERGY STAR.
