How to Troubleshoot a GE Advantium Microwave

The General Electric Advantium microwave is a unique appliance that utilizes speed cooking technology to prepare your food even faster. The oven uses power from a ceramic heater, high-intensity halogen light, plus microwaves to cook your food from the inside, top and bottom. The oven functions as a microwave, convection oven, and can bake, broil or toast. You can troubleshoot minor problems with the Advantium oven without contacting your dealer.

Instructions

    • 1

Increase or decrease the doneness time or make an adjustment to the upper and lower lamps if your food is not cooked completely at the end of a program.

Press down the Clear/Off pad and set your oven so it matches what you are cooking if you get a "Sensor Error" display.

    • 3
