Check the household fuse or circuit breaker if the microwave will not function. Reset or replace as needed.
Ensure the microwave door is firmly shut. Wipe the door seal with a clean, damp cloth and wipe with a dry towel to remove excess dirt that may prevent the door from closing completely.
Turn off the control lock, if engaged, by pressing and holding "Cancel" for at least three seconds. If engaged, the control lock will prevent the touchpads from operating when pressed.
Wipe down the interior of the microwave with a clean, damp cloth to remove any excess food debris that may be interfering with microwave function.
Place 1 cup of water in a microwave safe container for two minutes at 100 percent power. When the two minutes has expired, open the microwave door and carefully touch the water with a finger. If the water is not hot, contact a professional technician.
