Remove the three screws that hold the louver along the top of the oven's front panel using a Phillips screwdriver. Pull off the louver.
Remove the two Phillips screws in the oven's faceplate that secure the mounting plate to the back of the oven, and remove the mounting plate.
Slide the charcoal filter into the retaining tabs in the space revealed by removing the louver in Step 1.
Place the mounting plate against the wall where you plan to mount the microwave, aligning it so you center as many of the holes in the plate marked "A," "B," "C" and "D" on the studs behind the wall as possible. Mark each of the four holes with a pencil. Remove the plate, and note which holes align with a stud.
Drill pilot holes for the supplied wood screws, using the appropriate size bit, for the holes that lie on a stud. Drill pilot holes for the supplied toggle bolts for the remaining holes.
Insert toggle bolts through the mounting plate for the corresponding pilot holes made in the previous step. Thread a toggle nut onto each toggle bolt, allowing enough space for the nut to pass through the wall before you secure it. Verify the position of the plate and the toggle bolts before insertion -- you cannot remove toggle nuts after installing them. Hold the plate in place, and tighten the toggle bolts.
Insert the supplied wood screws in each remaining hole on the plate, and secure them with the screwdriver.
Mark the location in the bottom of the cabinet directly above the mounting location that corresponds to the oven's power cord; use a tape measure to determine this location if necessary. Drill a hole to accommodate the power cord using the drill and a 1-1/2-inch wood bit.
Thread the power cord through the hole in the bottom of the cabinet, then slide the oven onto the support arms of the mounting plate. Push it all the way against the wall.
Tighten the two Phillips mounting screws you removed in Step 2 to the oven's faceplate.
Attach the louver to the top of the front panel with the three Phillips screws you removed in Step 1.
Attach the unit to the cabinet above using the two supplied cabinet screws and washers.
Plug the cord into the power receptacle in the cabinet. Bundle the power cord, and attach it to the inside of the cabinet using the supplied power cord hanger.
