How to Replace a Spacemaker Microwave Light

Although it may seem to be a very small part of your Spacemaker microwave's function, the light plays an important role in microwave cooking. It allows you to keep an eye on the food cooking inside the microwave and also provides additional light for cleaning. If your Spacemaker microwave's light burns out you can replace it without the help of a repairman. Although the process can vary depending on the model of Spacemaker microwave in question, it's generally just a matter of opening the access panel and replacing the burned out light bulb.

Instructions

      Turn off the microwave and remove any food or equipment inside the oven. Disconnect the microwave from the electrical source.

      Remove the screw that holds the light bulb access panel and then open the panel. Unscrew it from the socket.

      Screw in a light bulb of the same size and wattage of the one you removed from your Spacemaker microwave.

      Replace the access panel and screw the panel screw back into place. Connect the microwave to the electrical socket and use as desired.
