Daewoo Microwave Edition 1 Instructions

The Daewoo edition 1 includes the standalone microwaves in the KOR series, such as the KOR-6115, KOR-61151 and the KOR-63A5. Being a standalone unit, the process of installing it remains rather straightforward. In fact, one selling point for Daewoo is the compact stylings that make it ideal for tighter places and smaller rooms.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the microwave from its packaging and open the door. Locate the box with the tray and guide, then remove it from the microwave.

    • 2

Place the microwave on a flat surface that allows at least 12 inches of space behind it.

    • 3

Plug the microwave into a 120-volt power source.

    • 4

Remove the tray from its packaging and wipe it clean with a damp rag. Wipe the inside of the microwave with a clean rag.

    • 5

Place the tray guide into the depression located on the inside floor of the microwave, then place the tray on top of it.

    • 6

Place food into a microwave-safe container and place it on the tray.

    • 7

Select the appropriate power level setting with the top knob. You can select between 17 percent and 100 percent. The farther you turn the knob clockwise, the higher the percentage.

    • 8

Turn the timer knob to the desired cooling time. The unit automatically comes on when the timer turns off the "zero" mark. If you plan to cook for two minutes or less, rotate the knob past two minutes and then move it back to the correct time.
