Instructions

    • 1

Position the mounting bracket onto the wall and center it in the cabinet opening. Place a level on the bottom edge of the bracket to ensure you mount the bracket in a level position. Position the bracket so it rests over studs in the wall. If you do not know where the studs are, you can easily locate the studs in the wall with an electronic stud finder. Simply place the stud finder against the drywall, and it will beep when you pass it over a stud location.

    • 2

Mark out each hole of the bracket onto the wall with a pen. Drill holes through the marked locations. The holes should measure half the diameter of the lag bolts you plan to use to install the mounting bracket.

    • 3

Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with the lag bolts. Lag bolts have hex-heads on them. Drive the lag bolts with a socket and ratchet.

    • 4

Place the damper flap onto the damper frame and then secure the damper cover onto the damper frame with the supplied screws and the screwdriver.

    • 5

Drill a hole into the cabinet that measures large enough to fit the head of the electrical plug for the microwave.

    • 6

Place the template into the base of the cabinet and then mark out the holes for the top mount. Drill ¼-inch holes though each marked location.

    • 7

Feed the electrical cord up through the hole and place the microwave onto the mounting bracket. The bracket has a lip across the bottom edge. Line the lip up with the lip on the back of the microwave and then rest the microwave on the lip.

    • 8

Secure the top of the microwave to the underside of the cabinet by driving the supplied screw though the cabinet and into the microwave with a screwdriver.

    • 9

Plug the cord into the electrical outlet inside the cabinet.
