How to Repair the Display on a Sharp Microwave R-510D

The Sharp R-510D microwave oven is a countertop unit designed for residential use. The microwave's control panel is located on the right side of the front of the cabinet and is used to control all of the microwave's functions. On the top of the control panel is a display which displays the time of day when the oven is not in use, and the cook-time or chosen settings when the unit is in use. If the display fails, you must remove the entire control panel and install a new one.
