The Kenmore Elite microwave hood combines a motorized blower and vent system with a microwave oven installed under a kitchen cabinet, typically over a range or stove. The back of the appliance is equipped with two channels for the insertion of a filter to trap cooking grease and odors as air draws through the internal blower through the vent. Changing the filter takes less than a minute. No tools are needed.
