How to Change a Lightbulb in a Kenmore Microwave Oven Model #564-8878310

While different models of Kenmore microwaves vary in the features they offer, most, like the Kenmore model #564-8878310, also have an interior light so that you can see inside when the unit is on. The replacement process is the same for most Kenmore microwaves and it only takes a short time to replace a dead bulb. The microwave will still operate when the bulb burns out, but certain recipes require that you visually check the food as it is cooking, so you will need to replace it if it does.
