How to Install a Charcoal Filter on a GE LVM1750DM1WW

The LVM1750DM1WW is an over-the-range microwave, manufactured by General Electric. The LVM1750DM1 microwave is available in both black and white models, and the color of the microwave is indicated in the model number suffix with either "WW" for white models or "BB" for black models. Like many other over-the-range microwaves, the LVM1750DM1WW has a hood-vent on the underside of the unit. During installation of the microwave, the installer has the option to vent the appliance out of the house, or utilize a charcoal filter to clean the air before it is redistributed into the kitchen. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the charcoal filter, such as when replacing the oven light bulb, or replacing the filter itself. Once the filter is removed, it must be properly installed to ensure that the air filters properly.
