DIY: Convection Vape

A convection vaporizer is a type of hot box that is used as an alternative to smoking. The tobacco is heated up and inhaled instead of being directly smoked. This is much more efficient and less harmful than smoking. The vapor tastes better and is much less irritating to your throat. The box has a tube coming from it that you inhale out of to get the smoke. If you don't want to buy a convection vaporizer, you can make your own with a few household items.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay out the desired amount of tobacco you want to smoke and cut it up into small pieces with a kitchen knife. The amount you want to lay out will vary depending on how much you want to smoke.

    • 2

Spread out the tobacco inside a beaker. Move it around so it is spread out evenly throughout the beaker and is not clumped together in the center. Add more tobacco to the mix if it does not look like it will be enough before moving on to the next step.

    • 3

Place the beaker directly on top of a hot plate. Plug in the hot plate to the nearest outlet and turn it on.

    • 4

Put your hand over the top of the beaker and let the tobacco begin to evaporate from the heat of the hot plate. Put your mouth over the beaker once the tobacco evaporates and inhale. Remove your mouth from the beaker and place your hand back on top. Exhale to release the smoke.

    • 5

Inhale again once the tobacco has evaporated some more and repeat the same process until all of the tobacco has evaporated. Turn off the hot plate and remove the beaker from it upon completion.
