How to Clean a DeLonghi Toaster Oven

Over time and through consistent use, your DeLonghi toaster oven can accumulate crumbs, grease and other unwanted buildup. In order to maintain a sanitary cooking space, you will want to periodically clean your toaster oven. This can be done using several common household cleaning products and will not only help you prepare safe meals, it will help reduce the risk of fire when operating your DeLonghi toaster oven.

  • Glass cleaner

Instructions

      Unplug the DeLonghi toaster oven from the electrical outlet.

      Open the toaster, then remove the baking rack, toasting rack and broiling tray from the oven.

      Wash and scrub the baking rack, toasting rack and boiling tray with mild soap, water and a cleaning sponge.

      Remove the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster oven, then wash and scrub it clean using mild soap, water and a cleaning sponge. Spray hard to remove accumulation with a degreaser, scrub with a scouring pad, then rinse off the tray with hot water.

      Rinse out the cleaning sponge, making sure to squeeze out most of the soap accumulation, then scrub the interior of the toaster oven and the interior of the glass door with the damp sponge.

      Spray glass cleaner onto a soft cloth, then wipe the exterior of the glass door and the toaster oven using the cloth.

      Place all removed trays back into the toaster oven.

      Plug the toaster oven back into the electrical outlet once all components of the oven have dried.
