How to Replace the Interior Light in a GE Convection Microwave Oven

General Electric manufactures many different models of microwave ovens, with a wide variety of features. One feature is the coveted convection option. Convection ovens have a fan that circulates air around the microwave during the cooking process, which helps decrease cooking times and allows you to brown food in the microwave. Like all General Electric microwaves, units featuring convection cooking have an internal light that illuminates whenever the microwave is in use, or when the oven door is open. As the microwave ages, the light will burn out, at which point you must replace it.
