How to Change the Sound Baffle on a KitchenAid Garbage Disposal

When you've been using your KitchenAid garbage disposal for a long time the sound baffle can become worn or cracked from overexposure. The sound baffle is used to muffle the sound in the garbage disposal and also help prevent unwanted objects from reaching the disposal's chamber. If your sound baffle is damaged and causing your disposal to be louder than normal, then you can replace it once you've purchased a replacement baffle part.
