Statuario Marble Tile

• Statuario marble tile, a white marble tile, comes from Northern Italy and is used for a variety of purposes. Statuario tiles are not consistently colored due to the different white tones in the marble and the light gray or gold-toned veining. During the Renaissance, this highly valued marble was used to produce statues.

Arabescato Marble

• Arabescato marble is another white natural stone from Italy. Arabescato marble is also known by many other names, including fantastic marble, arabescato mossa marble and arabescato corchia marble. This type of marble is versatile and offers a unique marble look, making it acceptable for use in many areas of a home or business. While this type of marble is commonly used in the creation of wall and floor tiles, it is also used to manufacture countertops, fireplaces and even household items such as vases and flowerpots. Arabescato marble has a mosaic appearance due to the large number of veins that run through the thickness of the marble. Depending on the veins running through the marble, some pieces may contain gray or cream hues.

The tile's tones vary from stark white to shades of cream and contain intricate silver or charcoal veining. • While white marble tile looks beautiful in almost any area of the home and in any form, it must be properly taken care of for its beauty to last.
