How to Reset a Badger 5 Garbage Disposal

The Badger 5 disposal is a convenient kitchen appliance until something jams the blade. The Badger 5 will turn itself off to prevent damage to the unit should an obstruction block the movement of the blades. You should first check the electrical panel box to ensure that the circuit breaker is not tripped prior to resetting the Badger 5 disposal. Before you reset the disposal, you must first remove the obstruction. You will need the service wrench that comes with the Badger 5 disposal.
