    Machine Specifications

    • The Boran 1050L uses a compaction force of up to 5,000 pounds. This force makes this machine capable of compacting the equivalent of 14, 13 gallon trash bags into one bag. Fourteen regular sized garbage bags is equivalent to 1.4 cubic feet. In order to compact the trash the 1050L is equipped with Boran's patented double scissors ram system. There is a 12 inch swing-door on the 1050L. The 1050L comes with two reversible swing doors, in order for the buyer to be able to adjust the trash compactors look to fit the kitchen. Custom doors can also be installed. It is also equipped with a deodorizing system, and a bag storage compartment. For safety, Boran installed an interlock mechanism that does not allow the door to be open when the trash compactor is in use. As another safety specification, the 1050L features a key-start system. The machine is made completely of stainless steel.

    Electrical Specifications

    • The Broan 1050L trash compactor must be operated on 120 VAC, and 60 Hz. This trash compactor is not to be operated on any more than five AMPS. The 1050 has a 6 foot, three-prong power cord.
