How to Troubleshoot a Badger 5 Disposal

Badger 5 disposals are connected to the bottom of the sink and work by grinding up leftover food that you don't want to dump in the trash. If there is a foul smell coming from the appliance or if the disposal blade does not freely rotate, you may need to do a little troubleshooting to diagnose and fix the problem. The good thing about troubleshooting a Badger 5 appliance is that the device performs a simple function; therefore, there are just a few things to check before diagnosing a problem.
