How to Replace the Check Valve on a KitchenAid KUDK03ITWH2

The KitchenAid KUDK03ITWH2 is a residential dishwasher installed under the counters of your home. The dishwasher has a check valve in the bottom of the filter assembly that prevents water from flowing back into the dishwasher once it has exited the appliance. The check valve is made of rubber, and it will break down over time. If the check valve fails, you must disassemble the filter housing, remove the existing check valve and install a new one.
