My Bosch Dishwasher Is Not Staying Latched

Racks

• Racks may be the source of the problem. Check to see that the dish racks are properly positioned. Flatware, a lid or a small dish may have fallen through the rack and is preventing the rack from sliding in completely. If a rack is off its guides or too full, it may not allow the door to latch properly.

Hinges

• Damaged hinges may prevent proper latching. Inspect the hinges on your Bosch dishwasher to determine whether the are working properly. Bumping the dishwasher door or placing a heavily weighted object on the door can damage the hinges. The hinge may be bent or worn and the door is out of alignment. If the hinges are damaged, they should be replaced. Springs

• The two springs on your Bosch dishwasher door are important to the door closing properly. The springs counterbalance the weight of the door. Clean The Latch
