How to Install a Door Latch on a GE Potscrubber

GE manufactured many models of dishwashers in its Potscrubber series, all of which were designed for permanent installation in your home. The dishwasher has a door lock on the front of the control panel that must be physically moved left and right to unlock the door. If the door is unlocked, the dishwasher will not function. After regular use, the door latch may become damaged and prevent the door from closing or locking. If the latch is damaged, the dishwasher won't run until it is replaced.
