Locate the dishwasher breaker in your service panel. Turn off the dishwasher breaker.
Turn handle on the dishwasher water supply line clockwise until it is tight to turn off the dishwasher's water supply. The water supply valve is typically located beside the kitchen sink water supply valves, below the sink.
Close the dishwasher door, if it is open, and remove the screws from the bottom-front panel of the dishwasher. Remove the panel.
Place a towel below the water supply line and the brass elbow. The water supply line is connected to the brass elbow.
Remove the water supply line from the brass elbow using the adjustable wrench.
Turn the brass elbow counterclockwise until it is tight using the adjustable wrench.
Reinstall the water supply line by first hand-tightening, then using the wrench to tighten an additional quarter-turn. Turn on the water supply valve and check for leaks. Tighten the water supply line if needed.
Reassemble the dishwasher by reversing the steps taken to disassemble it, then restore the appliance's power supply.
