How to Install Bosch Dishwasher Mounting Clips

When installing your Bosch dishwasher, one of the final steps is securing the appliance to the underside of the countertop above it, or to the cabinets beside it. Anchoring the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop or to the cabinets ensures that the dishwasher does not move during operation and that it remains in position when force is used to open the door. If you have wood countertops, anchor the dishwasher it the underside of the them; however, secure the dishwasher to the cabinets if you have stone countertops, such as granite or marble.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull the Bosch dishwasher out slightly so that the slots on the left and right sides of the top of the dishwasher are accessible.

    • 2

Insert the tabs on the mounting brackets into the slots on the top-left and top-right of the dishwasher. Insert the tabs so that the brackets face inward if anchoring the dishwasher to the underside of the counter-top, and insert the tabs that the brackets face outward if anchoring the dishwasher to the cabinets beside the dishwasher.

    • 3

Rotate the mounting brackets down toward the front of the dishwasher, so they are flat against the top of the appliance. Ensure that the tabs remain in the slots.

    • 4

Bend the perforated tabs on the end-third of the tabs down, if you are anchoring the dishwasher to the cabinets beside the dishwasher.

    • 5

      Move the dishwasher into position.

    • 6

Drive the screws included with the dishwasher through the brackets and into the underside of the countertop or into the side of the cabinet.
