Use detergent in your dishwasher every time you run a cycle.
Rinse as much food off of your dishes as possible before placing them in the dishwasher.
Test your water temperature by running your water on hot for one to two minutes. Place a candy or meat thermometer under the stream, the water should be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Adjust the temperature at the water heater if the water is too cold.
Turn off showers or clothes washing machines while running the dishwasher to allow the proper water pressure.
Make sure items are not nested within each other.
Check to see if the spray arms are blocked.
Fill the Rinse Aid dispenser with a Rinse Aid.
Turn on the “Heat Dry” option.
Do not nest items.
Run your Garbage disposal to make sure it is not clogged.
Check the plug at the bottom of the washer, and replace if it has been knocked loose.
Check the drain hose running into your sink plumbing to make sure it is not kinked.
Check to make sure the dishwasher door is closed.
Make sure the “Delay Wash” option is not selected.
Check under your sink to make sure the water supply is on.
Check your breaker box to make sure a switch has not been tripped.
