Replacing the Spray Tube in a KitchenAid Dishwasher

KitchenAid dishwashers have a spray tube on the rear of the spray arm, which is located under the top dish rack. The spray tube locks into the water supply line that runs up the rear of the dishwasher when the rack is pushed into the dishwasher, providing water to the upper sprayer. If the spray tube is damaged, the spray arm will not receive a proper water supply, which in turn affects the cleanliness of the dishes on the top rack. To restore the dishwasher to working order, you must remove the old spray tube and install a new one.
