How to Remove the Filter on a GE PDW7900 Dishwasher

When you run your General Electric model PDW7900 dishwasher any food particles left over from your dishes are caught into the sump pump filter. If bits of food begin to appear near the bottom of your dishwasher after you've ran a cleaning cycle then you should consider removing the sump filter to see if it needs to be cleaned or replaced. The sump filter can easily be removed by taking of the spray arm within the dishwasher.
