How to Anchor a Dishwasher to a Counter

One of the last steps in the installation of an under-counter dishwasher is anchoring the unit to the underside of the counter. A dishwasher that is not secured may move or slide around while running or when the door is opened or closed, putting unnecessary stress on the plumbing and electrical connections to the machine. Most under-counter dishwashers come with brackets that allow the unit to be secured to the counter, and they can be installed in a few minutes.

Line up the holes in the mounting brackets supplied with your dishwasher with the screw holes located previously. Secure the brackets by driving in the retaining screws provided, with a Phillips screwdriver.
