How to Install Bosch Dishwasher Door Panels

Front panels are generally used on Bosch dishwashers to add to the kitchen decor. Over time, the front panel of the dishwasher can wear down or get dirty. Changing the door panel can give the room a better feel. If you would like to install a new panel on your Bosch dishwasher, you can do it with little hassle. You don't have to call a technician to replace the panel. You can do it yourself.

Instructions

  Remove the power plug from your Bosch dishwasher. This is commonly found under the kitchen sink.

  Open your Bosch dishwasher door and allow it rest as if you are going to load dishes into the tray.

  Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the eight screws holding the side panels onto the door.

  Close the dishwasher and pull the front panel off of the unit casing. Do not pull with enough force to rip the control panel wires off of the control board.

  Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the control panel to the front panel.

  Line your new front panel up with the control panel and secure it to the unit casing with the control panel screws.

  Open the dishwasher and replace the side panel screws to secure the front panel in place to complete the installation.
