How to Remove the Upper Spinning Arm on a Maytag MDB5600AWB

The Maytag MDB5600AWB is a free-standing automatic dishwasher that is part of the Jetclean II line of appliances. The dishwasher is equipped with both a lower and upper spray arm. Without a working upper spray arm, the dishes inside the dishwasher will not be cleaned as thoroughly. If the upper spray arm becomes damaged, it will need to be removed so it can be replaced with a new part.
