Regularly used dishwashers don’t require much cleaning or maintenance. When left unused, a dishwasher’s metal racks may develop rust spots. Iron in the water or washing rusty dishes and utensils may also cause rust to form on the racks. You can remove the rust with commercial rust removing products or white vinegar.
