How to Attach the Middle Spray Arm on a Frigidaire Dishwasher

Frigidaire dishwashers have a spray arm below both of the dish racks. The purpose of the spray arms is to ensure that the dishes held on each rack receive equal coverage of water and soap, ensuring that all of the dishes in your dishwasher are properly washed. As regular maintenance of your dishwasher, you should remove the spray arms for cleaning. The lower spray arm snaps back onto the spray arm support; the middle spray arm, located below the upper rack is secured using a plastic washer.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the dishwasher and pull the upper rack out so that it is fully extended.

    • 2

Align the hole in the center of the spray arm with the wash arm support on the bottom of the upper rack. Ensure that the nozzles on the spray arm are facing the underside of the rack.

    • 3

Insert the plastic nut onto the treading on the underside of the spray arm support that passes through the spray arm, and then rotate it clockwise until tight.
